Blessnet can mirror data on other chains in real-time. Blessnet Ethereals represent your holdings on other chains, giving you a carbon copy of those assets on Blessnet.
Ethereals are not transferable. They mirror ownership and actions taken on the chain they live on. They are however, customisable. You can perform any activity with the ethereal that does not involve value transfer. Customising an NFT on mainnet? Modifying the art? Aligning/delegating your ERC20s? changing your ingame players stats?
Ethereal Architecture
Blessnet Ethereals operate at the token standard level, allowing any user to set up a real-time mirror image of a contract on another chain. This generalized architecture enables users to replicate tokens from other chains in real-time.
A single Ethereal can be created per contract address per chain. For example, there can be only one Ethereal collection for contract address 0x1D20...B5C07Ea from chain 1 (Ethereum Mainnet).
The Etheral contract requires a small BLESS balance to pay for replication costs. Once an Ethereal is setup, any user can seed BLESS to an Ethereal.
Crypto deserves a secure environment, where people can interact and engage onchain without fear of losing everything.. To truly benefit from your existing assets, you need to be able to use them, but that shouldn't have to mean bridging your assets to a new chain.
Blessnet Ethereals live alongside your existing holdings on other chains, reflecting and enhancing them in real time.
Users can enhance assets that they hold on ETH (or other chains)…, taking advantage of the lower gas costs on L2s, without losing the value that comes from being on the mother chain.
In addition, as ethereal are multi chain you can have multiple utilities spanning many chains all aggregate to their ethereals on Blessnet.
